On a chilly winter night - way back in November 2012, we were both invited to Amy and Jake's annual fish fry at their house in Hudson. This was a big night (besides the fish fry - they go all out), Amy and Jake had been doing their best to play Matchmaker and get us together for months. Well... this was the night that it finally worked out and the timing seemed to be just right. We had a wonderful time together and were both pretty surprised that we actually really did like each other (we all know how how set up situations can go). We continued to talk after that night while making sure to take it slow. After all, it did take us 4 years to get engaged!

Josh proposed on January 14, 2017, at the Willow River State Park. It was a nice, intimate proposal with surprise photographers, champagne and of course - Rudy. So amazing! Then we came home to the most wonderful surprise party. It was most definitely the best day of my life!

We are so excited to share our wedding day with you. It will be the BEST DAY EVER!!! Can't wait to see you there!
